Abstract:
Provided is a fuel injection valve (20) comprising: a needle valve (31) for connecting and disconnecting a high-pressure chamber (33) and an injection hole (34); a driven valve (41) which is provided within a control chamber (46), and the lift state of which is controlled on the basis of fuel pressure within an intermediate chamber (26); and opening/closing valves (51, 52) for connecting and disconnecting a first passage (25) and a low-pressure passage (58) and connecting and disconnecting a second passage (27) and the low-pressure passage. The driven valve is provided with a third passage (42) extending through the driven valve and having a first narrowed passage (42a) which limits the flow rate of fuel. The driven valve disconnects a high-pressure passage (14) and the control chamber while the control chamber and the intermediate chamber are in communication with each other through the third passage, and the driven valve connects the high-pressure passage and the control chamber while the control chamber and the intermediate chamber are in communication with each other without being connected through the third passage. The second passage has a second narrowed passage (27a) for limiting the flow rate of fuel and is connected to the control chamber without being connected through the driven valve.
