Abstract:
This fuel injection valve has a needle (20) (valve body), a fixed core (13), a movable core (30), a first spring member (SP1) (spring member) and a cup (50) (valve closing force transferring member). The movable core has a first core abutting surface (32c) which abuts against the valve body at the time when the movable core has moved to an opposite injection hole side by a predetermined amount, and a second core abutting surface (32b) which abuts against the cup when the movable core moves toward the opposite injection hole side. The movable core, the cup and the needle form a fuel reservoir chamber (B1) which is surrounded by the movable core, the cup and the needle and stores fuel, and the first core abutting surface is located inside the fuel reservoir chamber. A portion of the cup that abuts against the second core abutting surface partitions the inside and the outside of the fuel reservoir chamber, and a communication groove (32e) that causes the inside and the outside of the fuel reservoir chamber to communicate with each other is formed on the first core abutting surface and the second core abutting surface. As a result, it is possible to suppress variations in the fuel injection amount while using a core boost structure.
