Abstract:
Provided is a fuel injection valve which has improved durability as compared with conventional valves and which is capable of making a more uniform fuel injection amount than conventionally. In addition, provided is a fuel injection valve which is capable of performing injection at a higher fuel pressure than conventional valves and which has improved product reliability as compared with conventional valves. Therefore, the present invention is configured such that: when φB represents the hole diameter of a valve body insertion hole 31 formed from a through hole which is open in the center axis of a movable core 30, φC represents the outer diameter of an intermediate part 22 of a valve body 20 that slides with the valve body insertion hole (through hole) 31, φD represents the diameter of an inner circumferential surface 121 of a leading end member 12 that has an injection hole 11 and that slides with a spherical surface part 230 on the leading end side (downstream side) of the valve body 20, φE represents the outermost diameter (sphere diameter) of the spherical surface part 230 on the leading end side (downstream side) of the valve body 20, and φF represents the outer diameter of a constriction part 223 that is the smallest diameter part disposed in the intermediate part 22 of the valve body 20 and that is located on the rear end side (upstream side) relative to the spherical surface part 230 on the leading end side (downstream side) of the valve body 20, φB>φC>φD>φE>φF is satisfied; and a shape relationship in which the lateral surface of the movable core 30 and the inner circumferential surface of a nozzle body 10 are not in contact with each other, is provided.
