Abstract:
The present invention relates to a fuel pressure regulator, comprising: a case (3); a valve body (5) for opening or closing a path (P) for connecting a fuel inlet (30) and a fuel outlet (40); an elastic body (7) for opening the path (P) closed by the valve body (5); a valve seat (9) for allowing the valve body (5) pressed by the elastic body (7) to rest against the inner peripheral surface of the path (P); and a spring seat (11) for supporting the elastic body (7) between the valve body (5) and the elastic body (7) and pressing the valve body (5) to the valve seat (9) by the spring force of the elastic body (7), wherein the spring seat (11) is supported by the case (3) for the elastic deformation of the elastic body (7) such that the spring seat (11) is pressed by the valve body (5) and elastically restored when the path (P) is opened by the valve body (5). Therefore, fuel pressure can be stably maintained by restraining the rapid increase of the fuel pressure applied to the valve body when the valve body is opened.
