Abstract:
The present invention relates to a fuel production system and has as its purpose the provision of a fuel production system capable of efficiently producing HC by using fluctuating energy. A first apparatus (12) is a CO and H2 generation apparatus that generates CO and H2 simultaneously by electrolysis of CO2 and water. A second apparatus (14) is a H2 generation apparatus that generates H2 by electrolysis of water. When electric power derived from natural energy is used, the first apparatus (14) is strongly affected by fluctuation of the electric power. Thus, a steady component (straight line shown in FIG. 4) of generated electric power is supplied to the first apparatus (12), while the remaining fluctuating component (portion above the straight line) is supplied to the second apparatus (14).
