Abstract:
Accuracy and stability of fuel property detection are improved when using a method of detecting the properties of the fuel inside a fuel line. The disclosed device has a sub-tank (7) provided inside a fuel line connecting a fuel tank (4) and an engine (3), and a sensor (8) capable of detecting the properties of the fuel inside the sub-tank (7). The sub-tank (7) has a fuel inlet (7a) through which fuel is introduced from the fuel tank (4), and a fuel outlet (7b) through which fuel is fed to the engine (3).
