Abstract:
The present invention relates to a fuel saving device of a vehicle. In a vehicle provided with accelerator pedal arms (10) which are axially coupled with a body frame (F) so as to rotate by a rotation shaft (11), the fuel saving device comprises: auxiliary pedal arms (20) axially coupled with the both ends of the rotation shaft (11) to be rotatable in such a manner that the auxiliary pedal arms are positioned at the upper portions of the accelerator pedal arms (10); rotation members (50) mounted between the top surfaces of the accelerator pedal arms (10) and the bottom surfaces of the auxiliary pedal arms (20) so as to periodically repeat the operation and non-operation of the accelerator pedal arms (10) for a predetermined time while rotating between the accelerator pedal arms (10) and the auxiliary pedal arms (20) as a driver steps on the auxiliary pedal arms (20); reduction gear sets (60) mounted at one side of each of the auxiliary pedal arms (20) for reducing the rotation of the rotation member (50); and a driving motor (70) axially coupled with the sun gear (61) of the reduction gear set (60). According to the present invention, a vehicle accelerator is operated on a predetermined cycle so as to simplify the parts of the fuel reducing device of a vehicle, which reduces fuel consumption, thereby reducing manufacturing costs.
