Abstract:
This fuel supply system 10 is provided with a first fuel tank 14 for storing a first fuel that is a fuel oil, and a second fuel tank 22 for storing a second fuel that is a liquefied gas. A dual fuel firing diesel engine that is capable of operating using the combustion of the first fuel and/or the second fuel, is used in a main engine 12. A sulfur content S1 and a calorific value A of the first fuel, a sulfur content S2 and a calorific value B of the second fuel, and furthermore a target sulfur content S are set in a fuel supply control unit 30, and a required output value Z of the main engine 12 is input to the fuel supply control unit 30. The aforementioned values are used to calculate supply amounts X, Y to the main engine 12 of the first and second fuels conforming to the target sulfur content S and the required output value Z, and fuel injection timings of a fuel oil injection valve 20 and a gas fuel injection valve 28 are controlled.
