Abstract:

[Problem] To provide a fuel tank configured such that the pressure resistance thereof can be enhanced and the weight thereof can be reduced. [Solution] Provided is a fuel tank comprising: an upper panel and a lower panel both formed of iron; at least one support column that is provided in an internal space formed by the upper panel and the lower panel arranged opposite to each other, and that comprises a thermoplastic resin; a first iron pedestal that is provided on the inner surface of the upper panel correspondingly to the support column, and connects the upper panel and one end of the support column; and a second iron pedestal that is provided on the inner surface of the lower panel, and connects the other end of the support column of the lower panel. The support column extends in a direction in which the upper panel and the lower panel are arranged opposite to each other, and is configured by coupling, by snap fitting, a first member fixed to the inner surface of the upper panel via the first pedestal to a second member fixed to the inner surface of the lower panel via the second pedestal.
