Abstract:
This fuel tank (1) is made from a resin and comprises: a tank body (2) having walls facing the interior; and built-in columnar supports (3) having both ends thereof fixed to the facing walls. The built-in columnar supports have a grid pattern in which a plurality of through holes (4) are arranged side by side in a lateral view. The through holes (4) comprise, for example, hexagonal holes (9). The built-in columnar supports (3) have a substantially cylindrical shape and have circular welded surface sections on both ends thereof which are welded to the walls. The fuel tank is provided with two or more of the built-in columnar supports (3) and connection sections (13) connecting adjacent built-in columnar supports (3) to each other.
