Abstract:
The invention relates to a fuel trap (1) for a motor vehicle comprising a movable vane (10) provided with a locking member (20) controllable by a cylinder lock (30), wherein said vane (10) is movably mounted in such a way that it is displaceable between closed and open positions, the locking member (20) is movably mounted in such a way that it is displaceable between locked and unlocked positions and the cylinder lock (30) controls the displacement of the locking member (20) between locked and unlocked positions. Said invention is characterised in that the fuel trap (1) also comprises first elastic return means (50) for driving the locking member (20) to the unlocked position, second elastic return means (60) for driving the movable vane (10) to the open position and sensor means (70) for determining the position of said movable vane (10).
