Abstract:
A full hydraulic synchronous steering system for a low-speed heavy-duty vehicle, the system comprising: a steering control mechanism and a steering actuator. A desired steering curve between a steering wheel angle and a rear wheel angle is determined; when a steering error exceeds an allowable error, a controller controls the opening/closing of a charge solenoid valve (5) and a drain solenoid valve (4) to adjust the amount of oil entering a steering cylinder (7), so as to ensure that the steering error is within an allowable error range to achieve synchronous steering. Also provided is a method for operating the full hydraulic synchronous steering system. by means of the full hydraulic synchronous steering system and the method, the synchronous steering capability of a low-speed heavy-duty vehicle can be improved, the steering ratio can be changed, so that the safety is improved, and a driver can well control the moving direction of the vehicle.
