Claims An apparatus with various uses especially toilet cleaning and is fully disposable. |
Background of the invention
1. Toilet cleaning brushes also known as toilet brushes, are widely used the lavatories the world over.
2. Its use in general relates to the removal of fecal or similar matter from toilet bowls.
3. It also aids in general cleaning and germ removal within the toilet bowl.
4. Until now these toilet brushes have been constructed of plastic or other solid material and have specifically been aimed at its reuse.
5. This reuse usually causes long-term attachment of fecal matter to the core of the brush head which is unsightly.
6. In recent years developments have led to a toilet brush with a detachable head that is disposable.
7. Consumers generally find the toilet brush a necessary but disliked tool for cleansing rather embarrassing remnants of fecal matter.
8. The inventors viewpoint is that a fully disposable cleanser similar to the traditional toilet brush will be
preferred by users.
9. This invention therefore aims to create a tool with similar uses to the toilet brush that is completely
disposable.
10. In other words the whole unit will be disposed of including its handle.
11. The invention will allow full disposal which enables fully hygienic utilization with no unsightly remnants.
12. Optional inclusions will be disinfectant, perfume and disinfectant.
Brief Summary
This invention relates to a fully disposable toilet brush with limited reusability with the aim of replacing the traditional toilet brush with reusable handle.
Detailed Description of the Invention
The application of the basic concept presents itself in numerous forms, 3 specific examples are explained further namely;
Example 1
1. As can be seen from Figure A1 the unit is made up of a handle, water protector and brush / bristles.
2. The handle has its use in enabling the user to hold and handle the unit.
3. The Water protector protects the users hand or lower arm from any water being splashed during the
cleansing activity.
4. The Brush / Bristles are used to scrub the toilet as per the devices use.
5. In this instance the invention is made of cellulose or some other dissolvable material.
6. Upon completion of use i.e. scrubbing of toilet the invention dissolves and is flushed down the toilet or through some other plumbing outlet.
7. The brush head will generally take longer to dissolve than the handle and water protector.
7.1 . This allows sufficient time for the user to use the brush before it starts dissolving as the brush makes direct contact with the dissolving activator e.g. water.
7.2. The handle and water protector will generally dissolve quicker to enable fast disposal after use.
Example 2
8. Similar to example 1 but without the dissolvable properties.
9. This form enables disposal through a sanitary bin or similar.
10. As can be seen from Figure B1 the unit is made up of a handle, water protector with non porous covering on edging and brush / bristles.
1 1. The handle has its use in enabling the user to hold and handle the unit.
12. The Water protector protects the users hand or lower arm from any water being splashed during the
cleansing activity. 13. The non porous edge that enables the substance e.g. plastic to be rolled over the used brush
14. The Brush / Bristles are used to scrub the toilet as per the devices use.
15. In this instance the invention is made of a relatively rigid material.
16. After use as shown in Figure B .1 the non porous covering is extended over the brush, sealed and disposed of.
Example 3
This example represents the same utilities and mechanisms as example 1 without the water protector.
Due to the logical form and structure of the apparatus it lends itself to numerous other uses besides toilet cleaning.
