Abstract:
A fully functional airline luggage tag with two layers of paper and film, and a process for manufacturing same. The luggage tag comprises several airline luggage tag units, wherein each of the airline luggage tag units comprises surface-layer thermo-sensitive paper (10) and a PET tensile film (30); the surface of the surface-layer thermo-sensitive paper (10) is provided with a thermo-sensitive paper printing layer (11) and an anti-sticking layer (12); transverse die cutting is performed on the surface-layer thermo-sensitive paper (10) to form small tag pieces (60) and an extraction piece (70); the PET tensile film (30) is connected to the surface-layer thermo-sensitive paper (10) via a pressure-sensitive adhesive (20); and a PET film printing layer (31) on the surface of the PET tensile film (30) is provided with oppositely adhered adhesive layers (41, 42). The process comprises the steps of manufacturing the surface-layer thermo-sensitive paper (10) and the PET tensile film (30), applying the pressure-sensitive adhesive (20) and performing alignment and combining, printing the PET film printing layer (31), applying the oppositely adhered adhesive layers (41, 42), performing die cutting to form the small tag pieces (60) and the extraction piece (70), slitting and rewinding, etc. Compared with traditional luggage tags, the luggage tag saves on 1/3 of materials, reduces carbon emissions, has a simple structure, is low in manufacturing costs, has good softness, and does not bend and squeeze-out adhesive when a self-service device for passengers prints and discharges paper, thereby solving the problem of paper jamming during printing by a self-service apparatus.
