Abstract:
In the present invention, an automated driving ECU is used in a host vehicle capable of traveling by an automated driving function and serves as a function control device that performs control related to the automated driving function. The automated driving ECU recognizes an abnormal state that has occurred to the health of a driver of the host vehicle, and also recognizes a travel control mode being executed by the automated driving function, from among multiple travel control modes included in autonomous travel control where the driver is not obliged to monitor the surroundings. In the case where the abnormal state has been recognized while the host vehicle is traveling by the autonomous travel control, the automated driving ECU changes the content of vehicle control of the host vehicle and/or information presentation control for the driver in accordance with the travel control mode being executed by the automated driving function.
