Abstract:
Provided are a functional lens whereby peeling of a function layer can be effectively prevented even when a functional lens having a layered structure is mounted to a frame part, and functional eyeglasses provided with the functional lens. A functional lens is provided with: a lens main body 1; and a layered body 2 in which a first thermoplastic resin layer 3, a first adhesive layer 4, an optical function layer (polarizing film or the like) 5, a second adhesive layer 6, and a second thermoplastic resin layer 7 are layered in order on the surface of the lens main body; and the functional lens is mounted in a mounting groove of a frame part. The end surface of such a functional lens is formed in a shape having an apex, and the apex of the end surface is positioned on a mounting side (lens main body 1 side) relative to the first adhesive layer.
