FUNCTIONAL MODULE FOR CONSTANTLY SUPPLYING POWER DURING CABLE EXPANSION IN GIS

Disclosed is a functional module for constantly supplying power during cable expansion in a GIS. The functional module comprises a housing, a double-break switch device, and a drive device, wherein the double-break switch device comprises a central conductor, moving contacts, fixed side contacts, a transmission rod, multi-joint push arms, and a linear reciprocating motion mechanism; the drive device drives the linear reciprocating motion mechanism such that the transmission rod moves in a vertically reciprocating manner, so that two multi-joint push arms synchronously push moving contacts at two sides to slide back and forth in the sliding passage; and the moving contacts protrude from the central conductor, and are then inserted, in cooperation with the fixed side contacts, in fixed contact holes so as to realize conduction between the fixed side contacts, which are at two sides. The functional module has the advantages of being able to carry out docking and installation without cutting off the power of an original running cable when a GIS cable is expanded and installed, having a simple structure, being convenient to operate, greatly reducing budget costs of an expansion end, and being suitable for wide application.
