FUNCTIONAL SCISSORS

Technical Field

The present invention relates to a pair of functional scissors, and more particularly, to a pair of functional scissors which are useful and healthful for users who use a pair of scissors in a barber's shop or a beauty salon.

Background Art

Generally, a pair of scissors which are used in a barber's shop or a beauty salon have a structure that a flat blade and a saw-blade or a flat blade and a saw-blade which are equipped with a handle portion, respectively, are rotatable by an axis so that end blades are mutually grazed. A pair of conventional scissors for use in a barber's shop or a beauty salon have a handle portion made of metal, respectively, in which a contact portion between the handle portions does not softly move. As a result, it is hard for users to use a pair of scissors. Moreover, since portions in the handle portions which are gripped by fingers and hand made of a metal material, users who are very sensitive to the metallic allergy are not inclined to use the pair of scissors.

It is known that the hand is involved with respective physical

organs in view of an anatomical structure. Thus, the hand is massaged in various oriental massaging treaties, and all attention is concentrated on the hand. However, there is a problem that many employees who use a pair of scissors for a long time in a barber's shop or a beauty salon suffer from much the fatigue in their hands and bodies.

Moreover, a lighting device should be set up for a trimming of hairs. Thus, there is a problem that it is very inconvenient for employees who trim hairs at a relatively dark place, or have bad sight to use a pair of scissors.

Disclosure of the Invention

To solve the above problems, it is an object of the present invention to provide a pair of functional scissors which are useful and healthful for users in a barber's shop or a beauty salon, in which portions which are gripped by fingers and hand are provided with in handle portions made of jade, for example, a flat blade and a saw-blade or a flat blade and a saw-blade are equipped with a handle portion, respectively, which are made of jade. It is another object of the present invention to provide a pair of functional scissors including handle portions made of a bioceramic material in which a comb is provided in one of upper and lower blades.

It is still another object of the present invention to provide

a pair of functional scissors including handle portions made of jade in which at least one magnet is adhered.

It is yet another object of the present invention to provide a pair of functional scissors including handle portions made of jade in which a comb is provided in one of upper and lower blades and a lamp is adhered to the comb, in order for users to precisely do scissoring at the dark place.

To accomplish the above object of the present invention, according to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a pair of functional scissors comprising: an upper blade portion; an upper step protrusion which is formed at the end of the upper blade portion; an upper handle portion made of jade in which the upper step protrusion is inserted into and coupled with a coupling groove of the upper handle portion; a lower blade portion in which a comb is formed; a lower step protrusion which is formed at the end of the lower blade portion; and a lower handle portion made of jade in which the lower step protrusion is inserted into and coupled with a coupling groove of the lower handle portion, wherein the upper blade portion, the upper step protrusion, the lower handle portion, the lower blade portion, the lower step protrusion, and the lower handle portion are combined together into a pivot axis by an axial bolt and nut.

Preferably, a rail groove is formed on the back plane of the lower blade portion and a comb is inserted into the rail groove,

in which a rail protrusion is formed on the upper portion of the comb so as to be inserted into the rail groove, a lamp and a battery portion are provided in a cylindrical case formed in the upper portion of the comb, and the teeth of the comb are formed in the lower portion of the comb, wherein the comb can be detached from the blade.

Best Mode for Carrying out the Invention Hereinbelow, a pair of functional scissors for use in a barber's shop or a beauty salon according to preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings, respectively.

Firstly, jade is a precious stone whose outer appearance is charming. It is known in a Chinese ancient medical book called a "botanical list" that if persons carry jade, the heat in the body is dropped, the spirit becomes clear, and the circulation of the blood is smoothly done. Accordingly, jade is fabricated into personal ornaments from the ancient times. Jade is also fabricated into beads or circular plates to be carried and used for health.

In the meantime, bioceramic materials have been relatively recently found, which are called ceramics which emit the far infrared rays of 5-20μm collectively. Bioceramics have an effect of an anti-bacteriostasis, a function of removing bad smell, a

function of promoting the circulation of the blood, a function of maintaining freshness of the stored food, a function of promoting plant growth, etc., and thus are widely used.

Moreover, it is known that at least one magnet has an effect of a function of promoting the circulation of the blood.

As shown in FIGS. 1 through 6, a pair of functional scissors include upper and lower blade portions 60 and 10 at the ends of which step protrusions 60-2 and 10-2 are formed, in order to be conveniently used and be healthful for the human body. Here, the step protrusions 60-2 and 10-2 are fitted into the coupling grooves of handle portions 70 and 50 made of jade. Accordingly, the far infra read rays and healthful waves which are generated from jade are transferred to the hand and fingers. The feeling which is obtained from jade is more natural than that from iron. Accordingly jade can give a more emotional sense of stability than iron. Further, a lamp portion 140 is provided in a comb portion 120. Accordingly, a pair of functional scissors where the comb portion 120 with the lamp portion 140 is attached enable users to illuminate a dark place brighter than the case of a pair of functional scissors without having a lamp portion, and to trim hairs more minutely.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the upper step protrusion 60-2 is formed at the end of the upper blade portion 60, and the coupling groove 70-1 is formed in the upper handle portion 70 made of jade.

Accordingly, the upper step protrusion 60-2 is fitted into the

coupling groove 70-1 with a ring washer 40-1 and a screw 40, so that the upper blade portion 60 is not easily detached from the upper handle portion 70.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the lower step protrusion 10-2 is formed at the end of the lower blade portion 10, and the coupling groove 50-1 is formed in the lower handle portion 50 made of jade.

Accordingly, the lower step protrusion 10-2 is fitted into the coupling groove 50-1 with a ring washer 40-1 and a screw 40, so that the lower blade portion 60 is not easily detached from the lower handle portion 50.

The upper and lower blade portions 60 and 10 are combined through a coupling hole 80 on a pivot axis by means of an axial bolt 20 fitted with a washer 20-1 and a nut 30.

As described above, since the handle portions are made of jade, the far infrared rays generated from jade are transferred to the hand and fingers to thereby contribute to the health of the user and make the users feel emotional mild and natural beauty.

The present invention can be applied to not only a pair of scissors with a comb 120 but also a pair of scissors without having a comb 120.

As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, a pair of functional scissors for use in a barber's shop or a beauty salon according to another embodiment of the present invention include upper and lower handle portions 60-1 and 10-1 made of a bioceramic material in which at

least one magnet 60-3 is attached around the edge of the handle portions 60-1 and 10-1, respectively. Accordingly, the lines of magnetic force and the far infrared rays can be transferred to the hand and fingers . As described above, the lines of magnetic force and the far infrared rays reach the users who use a pair of functional scissors.

Referring to FIG. 6 showing a pair of functional scissors according to still another preferred embodiment of the present invention includes a lamp portion 140 in one of the scissors. Here, a comb portion 120 is provided in one blade 10 and a lamp portion 140 is adhered to the comb portion 120, in order for users to precisely do scissoring at the dark place. A rail groove 90 is formed on the back plane of the blade portion 10 and a comb portion 120 is inserted into the rail groove 90, in which a rail protrusion 100 is formed on the upper portion of the comb portion 120 so as to be inserted into the rail groove 90, a lamp portion 140 and a battery portion 150 are provided in a cylindrical case 110 formed in the upper portion of the comb portion 120, and the teeth of the comb portion 120 are formed in the lower portion of the comb portion 120. Here, the comb portion 120 can be detached from the blade 10. The cylindrical case 110 is capped with a cap 150-1 so that the consumed lamp portion 140 and battery portion 150 can be exchanged with new ones.

Alternatively, the lower portion of the case 110 is configured

to detachably have an integral comb portion. Accordingly, the lower portion of the case 110 can be fitted into the rail groove 90 of the blade portion or the former can be detached from the latter, as necessary. As described above, when the lamp portion 140 provided in a pair of functional scissors according to the present invention is used, users can trim hairs more elaborately even at the dark place or even in the case of the users of bad sight . That is, when a precise cut or an elaborate trimming of hairs is needed, a user combs the hairs and takes a desired part of the hairs. Then, the user lights the lamp portion 140 to illuminate the desired part of the hairs so as for the user to cut the hairs precisely.

As described above, a pair of functional scissors for use in a barber's shop or a beauty salon according to the present invention are useful and healthful for users. Accordingly, although users use a pair of functional scissors for a long time, they feel a less fatigue and suffer from a less stress. Moreover, a pair of functional scissors for use in a barber's shop or a beauty salon according to the present invention provide a remarkable advantage when hairs are trimmed at a dark place, hairs are precisely cut, and a desired part of hairs are brightly illuminated.

As described above, the present invention has been described with respect to particularly preferred embodiments. However, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiments, and it

is possible for one who has an ordinary skill in the art to make various modifications and variations, without departing off the spirit of the present invention. Thus, the protective scope of the present invention is not defined within the detailed description thereof but is defined by the claims to be described later and the technical spirit of the present invention.

Industrial Applicability

As described above, the present invention provides a pair of functional scissors for use in a barber's shop or a beauty salon, in which in which portions which are gripped by fingers and hand are provided with in handle portions made of jade, for example, a flat blade and a saw-blade or a flat blade and a saw-blade are equipped with a handle portion, respectively, which are made of jade or a bioceramic material. In addition, at least one magnet is adhered to the handle portions. A lamp is adhered to the comb portion, in order for users to precisely do scissoring at the dark place. Accordingly, the far infrared rays generated from jade or bioceramic material and the lines of magnetic force are transferred to the hand and fingers to thereby contribute to the health of the user and make the users feel emotional mild and natural beauty. Hairs are trimmed at a dark place, and hairs are precisely cut, when a desired part of hairs are brightly illuminated.
