Abstract:
Provided is a furniture fabric that provides a comfortable seat when used as a load support member for a chair and also appropriately exhibits a screen effect when used as a screen material for a panel. In a ground weave (17a), which is formed as a lattice structure by the warp (18) and weft (19), a weft band (20), which is wider than the weft (19), is arranged in multiple separate rows from one edge of the warp of the fabric towards the other edge. The distance (d1, d2... dn) between rows of weft bands (20), which neighbour each other in the warp direction, gradually becomes narrower from one edge of the warp direction of the fabric to the other and gradually becomes wider from the point where the separation is narrowest.
