Abstract:
Provided are: a fuse element which is capable of preventing the occurrence of a defect such as a crack in a high-melting-point metal layer, and which is capable of maintaining good conduction performance and good fusing characteristics; and a fuse device and a protection device, each of which uses this fuse element. A fuse element 1 which is obtained by laminating a low-melting-point metal layer 2 and a high-melting-point metal layer 3, and wherein at least one peak among the peaks in the X-ray diffraction spectrum (2θ) of the surface of the high-melting-point metal layer 3 has a half-value width of 0.15 degree or less.
