Abstract:
Provided is a fuse unit which facilitates inspection and other work. Also provided is a method for producing fuse unit. This method for producing a fuse unit 300 having a metal component 100 comprising an input terminal 110 and an external connection terminal 140, and a connector component 400 for attaching the external terminal C3 to the external connection terminal 140, by integrating the metal component 100 and the resin covering by insert molding, is characterized in that the metal component 100 and the resin covering 200 are integrally molded by insert molding in such a manner that the tip of the external connection terminal 140 of the metal component 100 protrudes from the resin covering 200, and subsequently, in order that the connection between the external terminal C3 and the external connection terminal 140 protruding from the resin covering 200 can be maintained, the connector component 400 which is separate from the resin covering 200 is attached to the resin covering 200.
