Abstract:
Fuse unit (10) comprising a temperature fuse (11) and a resistor (15), the fuse (11) comprising a fuse body (12) and a pair of lead terminals (13, 14) and being rendered non-conductive on temperature rise, the resistor (15) comprising a resistor body (16) and a pair of lead terminals (17, 18), the resistor body (16) being disposed ajdacent to the fused body (12) and enclosed, together with the fuse body (12), by a covering material (20) consisting of an electrically insulating-resin tube. The lead terminal (13) and the lead terminal (17) are connected together by welding, while the lead terminals (14, 18) are exposed outside the covering material (20). The covering material (20), being formed of an insulating-resin tube, is compact and light in weight.
