Abstract:
In the disclosed fuse unit, the degree of design freedom a fuse element has is not limited by the direction in which bolts are installed. The process for manufacturing the disclosed fuse unit is simple, and the structure of a die therefor is not complicated. The disclosed fuse unit (1A) is provided with: a fuse element (2) in which a first terminal connection part (4) and a second terminal connection part (5) are formed; and an insulating resin part (20) formed on the outer surface of the fuse element (2) via insert molding. Threaded bolt holes (10) are formed in the first terminal connection part (4) and the second terminal connection part (5) of the fuse element (2). Bolts (30) are screwed into the threaded bolt holes (10), thereby temporarily attaching said bolts (30) to the fuse element (2), and the fuse element (2) with the bolts (30) temporarily attached thereto is used as an insert component in insert molding, by means of which the insulating resin part (20) is formed.
