Abstract:
A fusing and mechanical force breaking melt type fuse, and a power distribution unit or device, an energy storage device and an electric device applying the fuse. The fuse comprises a hollow shell (100). The shell is filled with an arc extinguishing medium (101). At least one melt (102) is provided in the shell. Two ends of the melt are connected to conductive terminals (103) penetrating through a shell wall (107), respectively. The conductive terminals can be connected to an external circuit. At least one breaking device (200, 201) for breaking the melt in a mechanical manner is provided in the shell. After receiving an external excitation signal, a driving device (105) provided outside the shell drives the breaking device to break the melt in one or two of a linear displacement mode and a rotary displacement mode, such that the melt forms at least one fracture in the arc extinguishing medium. A blocking structure (202, 203) for preventing the arc extinguishing medium from leaking is provided between the breaking device and the shell wall of the shell. A weak part (204, 205) configured to reduce the mechanical breaking strength of the melt and easy to fuse is provided on the melt in the arc extinguishing medium. According to the fuse, the breaking capacity and the arc extinguishing capacity can be improved.
