Abstract:
Disclosed is a fusion splicing device management system for managing the progress of fusion splicing tasks performed by each fusion splicing technician using fusion splicing devices. This management system is provided with an acquisition unit, a determination unit, and a notification unit. The acquisition unit acquires fusion splicing data, about the fusion splicing tasks performed by each of the fusion splicing technicians using the respective fusion splicing devices, every time each of the fusion splicing tasks is performed. The determination unit determines a progress status of each of the fusion splicing tasks by comparing the fusion splicing data with task schedule data indicating a task schedule. The notification unit provides notification about the progress status, determined in the determination unit, of each of the fusion splicing tasks.
