Abstract:
A futon cover composed of a whole surface sheet side having the whole surface thereof constituted of a sheet surface and a center opening sheet side having two sheets respectively disposed on opposite sides of a futon insertion/takeout opening portion at the center, wherein each sheet surface of the center opening sheet side and the sheet surface of the whole surface sheet side together constitute fitting pockets for receiving the upper and lower ends, or the right and left ends, of the futon, the ratio of the sum of the futon insertion lengths a and b of the fitting pockets for receiving the upper and lower ends, or the right and left ends, of the futon to the length C between the edge portions of the sheet surface of the whole surface sheet side in the inserting direction of the ends of the futon satisfies the relation (a+b)/C = 0.1 to 0.85, and each of the futon insertion lengths a and b is at least 0.05 times the length C between the edge portions of the sheet surface of the whole surface sheet side. This futon cover is used in meeting facilities, particularly for disposal purpose in those facilities.
