Abstract:
Provided is a futon formed by housing a core material in a three-dimensional structure region, in which quilting processing is not required, cool spots do not occur, restorability to the original state after laundering is excellent, and good heat retention properties can be maintained as a whole over a long period of time. The futon 1 formed by housing a core material in a three-dimensional region according to the present invention has: an obverse fabric 2 and a reverse fabric 3; a obverse-reverse linking fabric 4 sewn, alternately and at prescribed intervals, to the inner surface of the obverse fabric and the inner surface of the reverse fabric in a linking manner so as to have linking side parts 5 of the same linking length; the linking side parts 5 which are adjacent to each other due to the obverse-reverse linking fabric being sewn alternately and in a linking manner between the obverse fabric and the reverse fabric; housing regions 11 having a three-dimensional structure shaped as a triangular cylinder defined by the inner surface of the obverse fabric or the inner surface of the reverse fabric, the housing regions 11 comprising a plurality of rows; and a plurality of feathery cotton material bundles 31 packed into each of the housing regions, the feathery cotton material bundles 31 having a format in which a feathery cotton material 21 is bundled. In a state in which the feathery cotton material bundles are housed in each of the housing regions, the outer peripheral parts of the obverse fabric and the reverse fabric are sewn and sealed.
