Abstract:
The game control method in one embodiment of the present invention has processing as follows: On the basis of a user operation, the user is associated with one of a plurality of groups. A plurality of sets are provided to which a plurality of inter-group competitions are provided that are competitions among different groups, and the user associated with the group is allocated to one of the plurality of sets. Information pertaining to the plurality of inter-group competitions of the set to which the user has been allocated is displayed at the communication terminal of the user. The participation of the user in at least one of the inter-group competitions among the displayed plurality of inter-group competitions is received in accordance with a user operation. In the inter-group competitions for which the participation of the user has been received, a user operation is received for executing an inter-user competition that is a competition in the game between the user and another user associated to a group differing from that of the user, and the victor of the inter-group competition is determined on the basis of the results of inter-user competitions.
