Abstract:
Provided are a game control device, game control method, program, recording medium, and game system configured so that a user can more clearly feel a benefit due to the presence of a companion. This game control device is provided with a relating means for relating users to each other, an execution means for executing a game for each user, a determining means for determining whether the degree of progress of the game of a user related with a first user satisfies a predetermined condition, and an effect generating means for generating an advantageous effect in the game for the first user when the determining means has determined that the predetermined condition is satisfied.
