Abstract:
Provided are a game control device, a game control method, a program, a recording medium, and a game system that are configured so that the theft of an owned item can readily be prevented. The game control device is provided with: an association means for associating user identification information of a user with an in-game item; a battle execution means for executing an in—game battle by a first user; a cancellation means for cancelling the association between the user identification information of the first user and the held item of the first user on the basis of the battle result; and a limiting means for limiting a battle execution-based cancellation of the association between the user identification information of the first user and the held item of the first user for a prescribed interval when a prescribed condition is satisfied.
