Abstract:
A game device (10) controls such a game that a character operated by a user and a character
of an opponent play a ball game by hitting a ball against each other. When the character
operated by the user performs serve, a serve control section (46) makes the character
perform a toss motion by receiving a first-time operation input from the user,
and makes the character perform a motion for hitting the serve by receiving a second-time
operation input from the user. The serve control section (46) determines the
power or speed of a ball to be served depending on the type of a button of the first-time
operation input, and determines the type of a ball to be served depending on the
type of a button of the second-time operation input. The serve control section
(46) makes the character perform a serve with the determined power or speed of
a ball and the determined type of a ball.
