Abstract:
Provided are a game controller, a game control method, a program, a recoding medium and a game system, which enable games of a highly-social nature to be achieved, even when location information for communication terminals is utilized. This game controller is provided with: an acquisition means for acquiring position information indicating the position of a communication terminal of a user; a detection means for detecting the communication terminal of another user who exist within a prescribed range of the position indicated by the position information that was acquired; an association means for associating the aforementioned other user with the aforementioned user on the basis of information pertaining to a prescribed operation input; and a granting means for granting privileges to at least one of the users among users who are associated with each other, when the aforementioned user has been associated with the aforementioned other user.
