Abstract:
A game device is provided with an external storage means (20) that stores sequence data (30) comprising position information, for determining intersecting-direction positions in a direction in which a reference line (TL) that intersects a depth direction (TD) corresponding to a time axis extends, associated with reference times at which prescribed actions are supposed to be performed. On the basis of said sequence data (30), the game device identifies the following: reference times in a prescribed time range; and intersecting-direction positions corresponding to said reference times. The game device then displays the following on a game screen (40R) for each reference time: a cue path (R) that extends from one end (UP) to the other (DP) in the depth direction (TD) while passing through the intersecting-direction position corresponding to the reference time in question at the time-axis position corresponding to that reference time; and the abovementioned reference line (TL). For each reference time, as the current time approaches that reference time, the depth-direction (TD) distance between the depth-direction (TD) position for that reference time and the reference line (TL) is decreased.
