Abstract:
This game device is provided with a control unit and a storage unit. The control unit executes a software program stored in the storage unit to function as: a first random selection unit which randomly selects symbols to be stopped and displayed in a plurality of display areas; a changing unit which changes the symbols displayed in the plurality of display areas; a stopping unit which stops and displays the symbols being changed by the changing unit; and a division unit which divides some of the plurality of stopped and displayed symbols, under prescribed conditions, if the stopping unit stops and displays a prescribed symbol.
