Abstract:
In a game device (200), a storage unit (201) stores a position of a player character, a position of an enemy character, and a candidate of a new position where an enemy character is to appear. A measurement unit (202) measures the elapsed time from the game start. A calculation unit (203) calculates a reference distance for deciding the position where a new enemy character is to appear according to the elapsed time measured by the measurement unit (202). The reference distance monotonously increases for the elapse time measured by the measurement unit (202). When making a new enemy character during a game, an appearance setting unit (204) sets one of the candidates stored in the storage unit (201) which is at a distance from the player character nearest to the reference distance as a new enemy character appearance position.
