Abstract:
The present invention realizes, as a game device by means of an information processing technique, a board game that has a mechanism for deriving a solution to a problem. This game device executes: a process for displaying a screen that includes a representation of a plurality of avatars and a representation of first cards and second cards each representing an event; a card determination process for determining, in association with action of an avatar, whether an event is about a second card or a first card; an acquisition process for acquiring one or more countermeasure cards selected from among the second cards represented on the screen as a result of a player's operation in the case when the event has been determined to be about the first card in the card determination process; and a matching process for making a match between the first card and one or more of the second cards acquired in the acquisition process.
