Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a game device with which it is possible to have increased flexibility in the arrangement of detection light and obstacles. [Solution] The game device according to the present invention is provided with; a base in which obstacles with which a game medium collides are arranged on the surface of a board; and a sensor for detecting the location of the game medium as a result of the game medium obstructing detection light that is emitted from a light-emitting part and that is to be received by a light-receiving part. The game device is characterised in that, as seen from the surface of the board, the detection light is arranged so as to be higher than the obstacles.
