A game management device is provided with: a first relationship information storage control means that stores first relationship information in advance in a storage device, said first relationship information being information in which an automatic comment issued by a fellow user before a match event in which a user plays a match against a match opponent is carried out and a condition for the fellow user who issues said comment are associated; a fellow user detection means that, before the match event is carried out in accordance with information related to operation at the terminal device of the user, detects fellow users who fulfill the condition of being a fellow user who issues the automatic comment that is included in the first relationship information, doing so on the basis of game information; and a fellow user comment transmission means that transmits to the terminal device of the user information related to the fellow users detected by the fellow user detection means, and display control information that causes the automatic comments issued by the fellow users to be displayed.
