Abstract:
Provided is a game system that is capable of ensuring that there are no users who have a lower match count compared to other users. A storage unit (60) stores match count information that is related to the number of matches played and that is associated with the game data for each user. A match opponent candidate presentation unit (62) presents the game data for a plurality of other users to a user as match opponent candidates. When presenting the game data of another user to the user as a match opponent candidate, the match opponent candidate presentation unit (62) presents the match count information associated with said game data to the user. A match execution unit (64) executes a match on the basis of the game data of the user and the game data of the user selected as a match opponent. A reward determination unit (66) determines the reward to be granted to the user as a result of the execution of the match on the basis of the match count information associated with the game data that was selected as a match opponent. A reward granting unit (68) grants a reward to the user.
