Abstract:

Negative effects such as limitations on presentation styles of a jackpot lottery and a low degree of freedom of the start condition of the jackpot lottery can be improved. A game system is equipped with a plurality of game devices and a jackpot lottery device. The game system comprises: a determination information detection unit for detecting determination information for determining for each of the game devices whether the player is present or not; and a player presence determination unit for determining, at a predetermined timing after a lottery unit has determined a jackpot prize winning game device, based on the detection result of the determination information detection unit, whether the player is present at the winning game device or not. A jackpot paying-out processing unit performs, when the player presence determination unit determines that the player is present at the winning game device, jackpot paying-out processing for the winning game device and, when the player presence determination unit determines that the player is not present at the winning game device, does not perform jackpot paying-out processing for the winning game device.
