Abstract:
To provide, to a player, a game that combines a nurturing game and a betting game. A game system for executing a game that includes a battle fought using a plurality of characters, a game device having: an accepting means for presenting, to the player, odds set by a server device with respect to a battle subject, and accepting, from the player, an indication of whether a first character controlled by the player is participating in the battle; a betting means for determining a betting number according to a game value inputted by the player; a changing means for changing the parameter for the first character on the basis of the betting number from the betting means if the first character is participating in the battle; and a payment means for paying the game value based on the odds and the betting number to the player if the first character participating in the battle wins.
