Provided is a game system server which increases the user-friendliness of an internet service. A server (10) for a game system (X) is provided with a game device server (120) for receiving fee information for each time a game is played on a game device. In server (10), a database server (150) is provided with a user database (151) for storing data pertaining to the games for each user ID. A fee totalling server (160) totals the fee information associated with a user ID and stores the totalled fee information in the user database (151). If the totalled fee information is equal to or greater than a prescribed monetary unit value, a usage right information update section (122) assigns the right to use an Internet service of a game for a predetermined period and stores information to that effect in the user database (151).
