Abstract:
A game system (1) in which a peer relationship can be established on the basis of mutual agreement among a plurality of users, wherein said game system (1) is provided with: rating means (12, S151 to S153) for rating each user according to a predetermined rating standard, and game control means (12, 22) for advancing a predetermined game utilizing peer relationships for users having peers. When one user from among users for whom a peer relationship has been established is chosen as a specific user, the game control means (12, 22) control game progress on the basis of the rating relating to a user group having a prescribed range which includes the specific user and the peer users for said specific user, such that the higher said rating is, the further the specific user advances. The group configuration is managed in such a way that progress in the specific user's game is controlled in exchange for payment of a prescribed additional charge by the specific user in a state in which users other than the peers are added to the group relating to the specific user.
