Abstract:
Identification information is invisibly printed on a surface of cards. A game table is equipped with: a table top which invisible light passes through and on which cards having identification information invisibly printed on a surface thereof can be placed; an invisible light source which emits invisible light at the card surface, and is positioned on the opposite side of the table top from the cards; an image sensor which detects the invisible light reflected by the card surface, and is positioned on the opposite side of the table top from the cards; a detection unit which reads the identification information on the basis of the results detected by the image sensor, and detects one or more features among the card type, the card location on the table top, and the card orientation on the table top; and an output unit for outputting features detected by the detection unit such as the card type and card location on the table top. As a result of this configuration, it is possible to prevent dealer errors and cheating.
