Title:
GAME TYPE REHABILITATION SYSTEM USING BRAIN-COMPUTER INTERFACE (BCI) AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/117439
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
According to a game type rehabilitation system using a brain-computer interface (BCI) and a control method therefor, which are presented in the present invention, and in a manner different from that of the usage of flickering light by a conventional system using SSVEP, mirror neurons are activated by using a moving image capable of activating mirror neurons by means of a signal image including a particular frequency of SSVEP, or through a game image in which a flickering body part of an object is displayed by a particular frequency of SSVEP and the body part of the object observed by a user moves, thereby enabling image observation concentration to increase by arousing a user's interest and, simultaneously, enabling the user to actively rehabilitate.
