DETERMINED ON THE GROUNDS OF GAME OUTCOME
The present innovation refers to a shared gaming device, particularly to a progressive jackpot (jackpots) or bonus (bonuses) gaming device, charging credits directly connected with prize winning in a game.
Besides, the innovation refers to a gaming system, comprised of a number of devices, at that the said gaming devices are interconnected for formation of a network of gaming devices aiming at accumulation of shared jackpot (jackpots) or bonus (bonuses), charging credits directly connected with prize winning in the game.
Also this innovation refers to a gaming system, comprised of a number of devices, at that the said gaming devices are interconnected via Internet for formation of a network of gaming devices aiming at accumulation of shared jackpot (jackpots) or bonus (bonuses), charging credits directly connected with prize winning in the game.
Progressive jackpot or bonus gaming devices are well-known. In the course of a game on these gaming devices a player has an opportunity to win accumulated jackpots or bonuses as a result of a certain outcome or in a random way.
Progressive jackpots and bonuses, which enable a player to win a big prize or afford an opportunity of big prizes, are particularly attractive for players.
There is a known gaming device, which ensures a method of charging credits on jackpots and bonuses in gaming devices, when a certain percent of a general percent of win of the gaming device is charged on jackpots and bonuses. For example, a general percent of win amounts to 94 %, where 90% go for a prize in the primary game and 4% go for charging on jackpots and bonuses. At such method of charging the dynamics of accumulation of jackpots or bonuses is not high (as a rule, at such method the charging of credits on jackpots or bonuses makes up no more than 3-5% of the general percent of win of the gaming device) as if to set too large percent of charging on jackpots and bonuses then the primary game would become less attractive for players. The primary game becomes less attractive for the players since the players win too less prizes, but the charging of credits on jackpots or bonuses is connected only with the turnover of the game and it is not connected with outcome of the primary game.
There is a known gaming device, which ensures a method of computation of scores on jackpots or bonuses in the gaming devices, when a certain number of credits, specifically meant for charging on jackpots or bonuses, is drawn additionally to the cost of the course of the primary game (bet of the primary game). As a rule it makes about 25% of the bet of the primary game. For example, the game bet makes up 20 credits plus an additional bet of 5 credits allowed for a possibility to win jackpots or bonuses of 25 credits. Such method is, in fact, a separate additional game on jackpots or bonuses, which is connected with the primary game that only at a game with an additional bet the method of winning jackpots and bonuses is integrated into the primary game. A player has to bet on a possibility to win jackpot or a bonus, because if a player gambles without additional bet he /she has no opportunity to win jackpots or bonuses. At this method of charging the dynamics of accumulation of jackpots or bonuses is less than at the above described method. But, ditto as at the first method, only the method of winning jackpots or bonuses is integrated in the primary game, but charging of credits on jackpots and bonuses is not connected with the outcome of the primary game.
The known devices ensure the methods of charging on jackpots or bonuses in the lack of visual and clear to a player system of formation of jackpots or bonuses, particularly if a gaming device or a network of gaming devices have several jackpots or bonuses or several different levels of jackpot or bonus. Therefore the above described progressive jackpots or bonuses are perceived by players as an additional opportunity of the game rather than a part of the game itself to be paid for additionally, or, if not payable additionally, the percents of win taken away for charging on jackpots and bonuses make the primary game less attractive for the players. But, for all shortcomings of the existing methods of charging credits on jackpots or bonuses, the progressive jackpot or bonus gaming devices (particularly the gaming devices joined in a shared network aiming at accumulation of shared jackpots or bonuses), are popular among players since such gaming devices increase the chance of a player to win a big prize. Overwhelmingly the amount of accumulated jackpots or bonuses is much bigger than the prizes in games without accumulation, as well as the proportion of the amount of the prize and the bet at which a prize, bigger than in games without accumulation, can be won. Therefore the progressive jackpot or bonus games enhance the pleasure of players from a game and interest of players in games.
The objective of this innovation is the development of such gaming devices (gaming systems) that ensure the high dynamics of charging credits on jackpots or bonuses, ensure the high dynamics of charging credits on jackpots or bonuses without any additional bets to the bet of the primary game, and feature a method of charging credits on jackpots or bonuses fully integrated in the primary game and during a game displaying to a player a visual and unambiguous imagination of how and why the credits are charged on jackpots or bonuses.
The stated objective is attained thanks to the fact that the gaming device contains a processor programmed (i) for handling plenty of reels with plenty of symbols on the reels, (ii) or for handling at least five cards, if it is a poker, (iii) or for handling plenty of playing cards, if it is blackjack, (iv) or for handling plenty numbers of keno, (v) or for handling plenty of bingo numbers, at that the processor is designed for (a) determination of a prize on the basis of the game outcome to confer to a player in order to charge thereof on jackpot (jackpots) or bonus (bonuses).

In other words, in the aggregate, the player receives for the game 140 prize credits displayed on the prize display (25). 69 credits are charged on the JP1 jackpot / bonus whereas this value is determined by the processor in the range of values set by the game programme for the corresponding jackpot or bonus symbols (in this example, for the JP1 special symbol for CC - 4 credits (in this example, in the range of values of 1 - 5 credits), for AAA - 9 credits (in this example, in the range of values of 1 - 30 credits), and for DDDD - 50 credits (in this example, in the range of values of 1 - 100 credits)), output on the JP1 jackpot / bonus display (35). The accumulated amount of the JP1 jackpot / bonus becomes 69 credits.
The examples, described above, illustrated on Fig.3 - Fig.6D, show that the connection of credit charging on jackpots or bonuses with prizes in a game enable to implement quicker accumulation of jackpots or bonuses in comparison to the existing methods. For instance, at charging on jackpots or bonuses equal to the prize in a game makes up 50% of all prizes in the game, i.e., at the general percentage of prizes of a gaming device equal to 94%, the percentage of accumulation of jackpots or bonuses makes up 47%. At that the charging of credits on jackpot or bonuses connected with the game prize makes the progressive jackpots or bonuses an integral part of the game itself (rather than additional opportunity), with very quick and visual to players accumulation of jackpots or bonuses. Accordingly the chances of players to win a big prize become quite big. This significantly enhances the interests and attractiveness of a game for players.
