Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of machine tools. Disclosed is a gantry milling machine automatic headstock. A first swing frame is used for mounting a protection cover assembly, and the first swing frame is rotatably mounted on a stand column; a second swing frame is used for mounting a right-angle head assembly, and the second swing frame is rotatably mounted on the stand column. When the gantry milling machine automatic headstock is in an operating state, a first driving structure drives the first swing frame to be located in the front side of the stand column, and a second driving structure drives the second swing frame to be located in the front side of the stand column; and when the gantry milling machine automatic headstock is in a non-operating state, the first driving structure drives the first swing frame to be located on the lateral side of the stand column, and the second driving structure drives the second swing frame to be located on the lateral side of the stand column. By means of the design, the first swing frame and the second swing frame are independently driven and controlled; moreover, when the gantry milling machine automatic headstock is in the non-operating state, the first swing frame and the second swing frame are located on the lateral side of the stand column, so that the centers of gravity of a cross beam, a sliding saddle and a main shaft are not affected, and the precision of the machine tool is not affected. The present invention further relates to a machine tool comprising the gantry milling machine automatic headstock.
