Abstract:
The present invention provides a gapped core of which the DC superimposition characteristics can be easily adjusted and have small variations, and which can be manufactured with high efficiency.
The gapped core 10 according to the present invention comprises a mold core 20 including an annular magnetic body of magnetic material and a resin covering portion covering the magnetic body, the mold core 20 including a body 30 and a segment 40 which are obtained by cutting the mold core 20 at a first cut part and a second cut part which extend between an outer peripheral surface and an inner peripheral surface and which become closer to each other toward the inner periphery of the mold core, the body 30 having a body-side first end face that has been cut at the first cut part and a body-side second end face that has been cut at the second cut part, and the segment 40 having a segment-side first end face that has been cut at the first cut part and a segment-side second end face that has been cut at the second cut part, wherein the segment is disposed in a cut-out portion 31 formed between the body-side first end face and the body-side second end face of the body, wherein the body-side first end face and the segment-side first end face, and/or the body-side second end face and the segment-side second end face, are opposed to each other via a gap 11.
