Abstract:
It is intended to provide a garbage disposer whereby the moisture content of the
contents of a disposing tank can be measured and the reliability in controlling
the moisture content can be elevated. According to the constitution of the garbage
disposer, the moisture content is measured by allowing the moisture to migrate
between the contents (3) of the disposing tank and a moisture-retention medium
(14) while agitating the contents (3) of the disposing tank and computing the
moisture content of the contents (3) of the disposing tank from the moisture content
of the moisture-retention medium (14). According to the constitution, the moisture
content is controlled by referring a standard moisture content change pattern
and the moisture content measurement data. Moreover, abnormality in the moisture
content measurement is detected by referring to moisture content change characteristics.
