Abstract:
Provided is a garbage incineration facility wherein the replacement frequency of an air duct can be reduced by preventing premature melting loss of a lower portion of the air duct due to overheating, combustion air released from the lower portion of the air duct can be reliably fed to flammable garbage being burned near the hearth floor, and complete incineration can be achieved more quickly. An air supply device for supplying combustion air is equipped with a blower 28, upper area ducts 30 for supplying combustion air to the upper half of a combustion chamber 101, and hearth floor area ducts 31 for supplying combustion air near the hearth floor 102 of the combustion chamber 101. Each duct 30, 31 is formed of a pipe main body 110 the lower end of which is covered by a plug 104, and on the lower peripheral surface of which a group of air spray holes 112 is formed. The lower end of the upper area ducts 30 is positioned near the center of the vertical height of the combustion chamber 101. The lower end of the hearth floor area ducts 31 is positioned at the hearth floor 102 of the combustion chamber 101, and the periphery of the lower end portion is covered by a holder body 114 made of a fire-resistant material and provided on the hearth floor 102.
